In the Washington Times, Robert Knight has a nice tribute to Tom Landess, who passed away on January 8 at the age of eighty. Knight calls Landess an “unsung hero,” noting, “The reason you may not have heard of Tom Landess before is that he did much of his work behind the scenes in countless selfless ways.” He continues: “To say that Tom was an accomplished Southern academic would be like saying that Robert H. Goddard was a guy who liked to tinker with rockets.”
